Designing for healthy relationships with Dearest

Dearest gives its audience access to a low-barrier digital mental wellness solution. They connect individuals who want to better their relationships with certified relationship coaches. We had the pleasure to design and test the Dearest MVP in a 3 weeks UX design sprint.

WEEK DEFINE

With a tight deadline in front of us, we made sure we stayed organized by researching the competitors, tapping into existing research provided by Dearest team, we had an Ideation workshop where we generated as many ideas as possible and defined personas. Once we quickly became experts on the topic, we started working on the concept. We created storyboards and made low-fidelity prototypes by highlighting the structure and features that we want to add.

WEEK PROTOTYPE

The first half of week two was dedicated to the mid-fidelity prototypes. In parallel, our UI designer and creative artists were working on the style of the application. In the second half of the week, we started the high-fidelity designs.

WEEK DESIGN & TEST

Once we finished the high-fidelity designs, we built an interactive prototype. We tested the MVP with 7 participants and we created a report based on their feedback. We made improvements and recommendations based on the results and handed the final work over to the client.
