Achieve in weeks with us what would take you months with typical design team. Having designed over 30 applications (web, native, SaaS, D2C apps, and much more), all you need to do is to attend workshops, offer feedback, and enjoy the ride until we achieve your desired results.
There are some necessary steps to take to kick off the sprint. It involves multiple walkthrough calls and discovery workshops through which we define a set of goals for the sprint and a feasible scope
Including all the email correspondence and initial calls needed to establish a common understanding of what we can achieve together and sign a work agreement
Through discovery workshops, we'd make sure your team has a clear understanding of the entire process. Then together we define the scope for the sprint and set of aspirational goals we'd like to achieve together
For every project, there's a work contract that breaks down the scope of the project and the terms of collaboration as well as an NDA
Ofen your internal teams have done their own research. We'd like analyze your research before the start of the sprint
We like to be prepared before the sprint officially starts. We conduct our own research, especially when it comes to market research and competitors analysis
The purpose of the first week is to become an expert on the topic as quickly as possible. Through this process, we’re able to effectively organize our thoughts and identify potential opportunities for value creation.
Through competitor analysis, we'd like to understand what’s the minimum amount of features required to stay relevant on the market. Also, we'd identify UX gaps amongst competitors that are not addressed yet. By addressing those gaps and offering relevant solutions to users, you differentiate yourself in the market from other competitors
User research is integral to our work, therefore we will conduct approx. 5 qualitative user interviews to get a feeling for the users’s context, needs and frustrations.
Creating personas is a great way to summarize the learnings from the user research and help the rest of the team establish empathy with the target group.
In the first half of week 2, we’re looking at the quantity of the ideas rather than their accuracy. We’re not interested in solving all the minute details. The second half is about taking the best ideas and creating a solid concept for the product.
We will use several ideation techniques to generate as many ideas as possible. Our goal is to formulate a list of potential ideas and visualize how they could transform in a innovative and relevant product.
Once the idea pool is formed, we start creating a solid concept that will solve the user's problems and improve their current experience.
At this stage, we start prototyping screens based on the developed concept. Low-fidelity prototyping is a great way to experiment with ideas while not getting too attached to those that don’t work.
The low-fidelity prototypes of the app help us to have a complete picture of the full potential of the app and scope the first version of it.
Week 3 is all about prototyping each page digitally, creating a design system, and designing your product in perfect pixels
After the concept is done, we start to prototype each page digitally. This step is about designing the layout and elaborating on the functionality.
Once we are confident with the prototypes, it’s time to design them in perfect pixels. But before, we create a design system with the important components. This helps us save a lot of time.
Designing high-fidelity prototypes are the stage where the app comes to life.
Once we made the app interactive (clickable prototypes) it is time to put it to a test. We conduct usability testing with users from your target group. Based on the results we present you a report, improve the designs and talk about the next steps.
Before usability testing, we make sure the MVP is interactive and all the user flows that we want to test are complete.
We conduct usability testing with approximately 5 users from the target audience. We will observe the way they perform the tasks and their overall experience.
We rate each task performed by users based on different criteria (usability, desirability, content). We compile a report and give you our recommendations and next steps.
Based on the usability testing feedback, we improve the prototypes. We prepare the assets for the dev team and leave detailed feedback on the interface.
We will offer you guidance on what the next steps for your product should be. Either if you decide to continue with us for another sprint, or decide to continue on your own.
You cannot rely solely on the results of a sprint. Design is bottomless, by repeating the sprint multiple times and baking the concept, you’d increase your chances of success.
By each iteration, we evolve the concept and resolve the usability issues till we get to a point where we’re excited to release the product to a market
The internal team was delighted with the project's outcome and the insights that Bonanza Design provided throughout the engagement. The team fostered a culture of rapid iteration and delivery, which not only streamlined their workflow but positively affected the client's internal processes as well. The Bonanza Design process has set the basis for almost all our work going forward and accelerated us through several sticky, difficult product decisions to the point where we are now scrambling to catch up
Bonanza Design is a detail-oriented team. They take the time to understand our company and the needs of our customers to deliver tailored solutions that match both our vision and expectations. They create high-quality deliverables that truly encapsulate the essence of our company.
We wanted to reinvent a workflow for our users on how to achieve a certain outcome. The goal was to have a set of well researched, well tested and well designed UIs which are achieving this desired outcome. The whole project and workflow was very effective. Bonanza has a very clear and structured workflow on how to achieve certain design outcomes and this includes a lot of research and validation. What impressed me most, is their speed and agility in this workflow. They are super fast and all meetings are highly efficient and productive.
Up to 5 interviews with relevant participants and creation of 3 personas
Thorough analysis of the main competitors on the target market
We make sure we will create a solid concept that will make your product relevant and meaningful
We will offer a multitude of ideas for you to have and use.
We will build a library of design elements such as color, text styles, components, states. So your dev team can continue the work.
We will build a high-fidelity interactive prototype.
We will gather feedback on prototypes by testing them with a pre-defined audience
We compile a report based on the findings and give you our recommendations and next steps.
We’ll make sure to give you guidance on what to do next.

This is a tried-and-tested process, sharpened through a wide range of projects. Through such efforts, we place reasonable constraints on the process of research, validation, and design and arrive at actionable insights by the end.
